Get help via Twitter

Twithelp™ lets you tap into the huge Twitter community to get help with anything you want. Think of it like a people-powered search engine or Yahoo Answers for Twitter. Rather than looking on Google for answers, you can ask a question and connect with real people all over the world as they answer your question.

It may be that your immediate circle of followers can help you but if they can't that's where Twithelp™ comes in. You might even make new friends/contacts along the way!

Give help via Twitter

Asking questions is one thing but answering them is way more satisfying. You can use Twithelp™ really easily to find and respond to people wanting help with things you know about.

Apart from being a nice thing to do, this can be a really good way of meeting new people with similar interests to you. It's also a great way of establishing your expertise in a particular subject - which can be especially useful if you're interested in marketing yourself or your services via Twitter.

*NEW* You can now earn cool badges for helping people. Can you get the Gold Karmic Panda badge? Find out here

How do I ask a question?

You can ask any question directly via Twithelp™ by clicking on "Ask a Question" in the menubar. However, you don't need to be in Twithelp™ to ask a question. Wherever you tweet from, you can simply include #twithelp in your Tweet and we'll pick it up and try to get it answered for you.

How do I answer a question?

Open questions (ie ones without answers yet) are displayed under the "Open questions" tab. Simply search for the subject you want to find questions about using the search box in the top-right corner of the page and then click the "Open questions" tab. What's on my profile?

Every user has a Twithelp™ Profile showing their Twitter username, the badges they've earned and all the questions they've asked and answered. Once you log in via Twitter, we'll also show your details from Twitter like your name, bio, location and URL. You've also got the option of adding your specific areas of expertise to Twithelp™ so other users viewing your profile will know what you're good at.

How do I earn badges?

You get badges for answering people's questions on Twithelp™ and generally being a nice person. There is a bronze, silver and gold version of each badge which you will unlock as you do more. You can also tweet every time you earn a badge so your followers will know about the good things you are doing. The badges you can earn are:

GOLD Ownership Badge

Ownership Badge
You get this badge for taking ownership of your Profile on Twithelp™ - you can do this here. The number of details you fill out will determine whether you get Gold, Silver or Bronze. This is the easiest badge to earn.
GOLD Loyalty Badge

Loyalty Badge
You get this badge for coming back to Twithelp™ often to check on people looking for help. The number of times you come back will determine whether you get Gold, Silver or Bronze.
GOLD Helper Badge

Helper Badge
You get this badge for helping people. The number of answers you give to people's questions will determine whether you get Gold, Silver or Bronze.
GOLD Karmic Panda Badge

Karmic Panda Badge
You get this badge for giving significantly more answers than questions. If you're helping more people than your asking for help, that's good Karma! This is the hardest badge to earn - only a select few will be able to earn Gold Karmic Pandas.
